The Irvine maker of high-performance time and frequency products for telecommunications networks earned $328,000, or 5 cents a share, for the first quarter, compared to a loss of $191,000, or 3 cents a share, for last year’s first quarter. Sales rose to $28.9 million from $24.6 million last year.
