The Brea financial institution reported earnings of $432,000, or 51 cents a share, for the first quarter, a 31% increase over net income of $330,000, or 39 cents a share, for last year’s first three months. Its assets grew to $168.7 million at the end of March from $130.8 million a year earlier.
