Greene Won’t Anchor at KCBS: Despite speculation, veteran KABC anchor Harold Greene, who recently left the station after continuing reports of disagreements with management and colleagues, is not headed to KCBS--at least not in the near future. After Greene left KABC on Aug. 11, there were rumors that he might rejoin his former boss, John Severino, a past general manager of KABC who is now president and general manager of KCBS. But Severino said Wednesday that he has not had a conversation with Greene since his leaving, and that KCBS’ anchor lineup “was pretty well set.”

Judge Dismisses “Price” Suit: A Superior Court judge in Los Angeles has ruled that there is insufficient evidence to prove age and sex discrimination claims by a former “Price Is Right” model who sued Bob Barker and the show’s producers. Holly Hallstrom had contended she was fired unjustly in 1995 after 19 years on TV’s longest-running game show. Barker denied the accusations and filed suit against her. That case is scheduled for trial Sept. 22. “I am delighted,” Barker said in a statement after Tuesday’s ruling.
