ANAHEIM
Anaheim has purchased more than 70 automated external defibrillators to treat victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
The devices will be placed in the city’s firetrucks, as well as at City Hall, the Anaheim Convention Center, public libraries and the two city-owned golf courses. The Fire Department will train more than 500 city employees on how to use the defibrillators and eventually plans to train local employees and residents.
