North American Scientific Prices Its Public Offering

North American Scientific Inc. of Chatsworth announced the pricing of its public offering of 2.5 million shares of its common stock, including 180,000 shares offered by current stockholders, at a price of $17.88 per share.

CIBC World Markets Corp. is acting as lead manager for the offering, with UBS Warburg LLC and Leerink Swann & Co. acting as co-managers. The company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase an additional 375,000 shares for up to 30 days to cover over-allotments, if any.

North American Scientific designs, develops and produces radioisotopic products, including brachytherapy seeds and radiopharmaceuticals, for the treatment and diagnosis of disease.
