SANTA ANA
City officials will be handing out free books to preschool and school-aged children on Saturday to celebrate Read Across Santa Ana. Purchased with a state grant sponsored by Assemblyman Lou Correa (D-Anaheim), the books will be distributed at Lincoln Elementary School, 425 S. Sullivan St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is part of the Read Across America literacy initiative.
