David Bailey, a singer-songwriter diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1996, will perform his songs of hope and courage at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Downtown Community Center, 250 E. Center St. Bailey is trained in classical guitar and has spent the past three years touring the country. Admission is free.
