DIVISION IV

Ridgecrest Burroughs 3, Chaminade 1--Sophomore Bobby Paschal gave up five hits and one earned run in five innings, but the Eagles struck out 10 times and stranded eight batters in a loss at Burroughs.

Erik Johnson had two hits and scored on an error in the first inning for Chaminade (20-7).

DIVISION V

St. Bonaventure 9, Paraclete 0--Gilbert Infante (10-1) pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Seraphs (20-4-1) in a victory at Paraclete (10-15).

Jack Swisher and David Garza hit two-run singles during a five-run second.

Village Christian 3, Santa Ana Calvary Chapel 2--Jeremy Gonzales (12-0) pitched a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and hit a two-run home run to cap a three-run sixth, giving the Crusaders a victory at Tujunga Little League Field.

Joe Carrier hit a run-scoring single and Kyle Christensen hit a run-scoring double for Calvary Chapel (17-7) in the second.

Clint Hamblin hit a run-scoring single for Village Christian (18-5).

DIVISION VI

Grace Brethren 10, Thacher 2--Chase Kroll snapped a 2-2 tie with a two-run single in the fourth inning and Tim Thompson followed with a three-run home run for the top-seeded Lancers at Grace Brethren.

Thompson (15-2) pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts.

Shawn McClain had three hits and two RBIs for the Lancers (21-4).
