Donations of nonperishable food, clothing and child-care items will be accepted at the Joint Forces Training Base from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 5. The donation drive is sponsored by the California Army National Guard, 1st Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment and part of the Orange County Rescue Mission’s Operation Hope.
The donations are given to children in poverty-level neighborhoods.
