Soroptimists Seek Award Applicants
Soroptimist International of Ventura is looking for female heads of households who want to go back to school.
The club is seeking applicants for its Women’s Opportunity Award, which aims to help women who plan to enter the work force or who want to upgrade their employment status.
The local club will award a $500 grant to the winner, who then advances to an opportunity to win up to $15,000 more.
