3 Arrested in Slaying of Panorama City Resident
Three men were arrested on suspicion of killing a Panorama City resident last week, police said Monday.
Eddy Perez and Jorge Ayala, both 18, and Gabriel Ceja, 20, were taken into custody Sunday and charged with murder in Friday’s slaying of Alan Figueroa, 19, said Det. Frank Bishop of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
All three Pacoima residents were arrested without incident, Bishop said.
Figueroa was shot in the chest at his aunt’s house in the 13100 block of Terra Bella Street in Pacoima about 10:40 p.m. Friday. He and the three suspects had argued earlier in the day, Bishop said.
Police have no evidence that Figueroa was involved in a gang, Bishop said.
