Man Fatally Shot in Home by Intruders

Police are searching for a group of men who broke into a Van Nuys home Thursday night, shooting and killing a 20-year-old man.
Sometime before midnight, an unspecified number of men in their 20s entered the home on Hayvenhurst Avenue and shot Leobardo Sineo Aguirre several times in the upper torso, Los Angeles Police Officer Brian Ashley said.
Aguirre died before police arrived at 11:40 p.m. The motive for the shooting is unknown. Anyone with information can call the LAPD’s Van Nuys Division at (818) 756-8377.
