Reward Offered in Search for Rape Suspect
Orange County sheriff’s officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Dana Point rape suspect.
Christian Navaro-Lopez, 19, is suspected of abducting a woman March 26 at Pacific Coast Highway and Colegio Drive near a restaurant where he worked as a dishwasher. The woman was taken to a nearby field and sexually assaulted, police said.
Navaro-Lopez lived in the Dana Point area and has a large scar on his left shoulder.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Dana Point police at (949) 248-3580.
