With four months of the year almost complete, trainer Pete Eurton, according to statistics in Thursday’s Daily Racing Form, has three victories in 2002.

He could double his output in the final three races on today’s card at Hollywood Park.

Eurton has the morning-line favorites in the day’s concluding pick three--5-2 choice Dinnerathepalms in the sixth, Elaine’s Angel at 2-1 in the seventh and 5-2 choice Golden Hours in the eighth.

A gelded son of Tsunami Slew, Dinnerathepalms returns to a claimer after three consecutive defeats in low-level allowance races. The last time he ran for a tag, the 5-year-old won by two lengths under Alex Solis, who has the mount again today in the $32,000 claimer at 11/16 miles on the dirt.

Elaine’s Angel, a 4-year-old T.U. Slew filly, will break from the inside in a field of five in the seventh, an optional claimer at 11/16 miles. The beaten favorite in her last, she again will be handled by Solis and tries for her first win in her fourth start at Hollywood Park.

In the finale, Golden Hours has little to defeat in the 11/16-mile race for $32,000 maidens. The Candi’s Gold gelding lost a heartbreaker in his most recent race, missing by a nose to California Goal on March 29 at Santa Anita. Like the other two Eurton runners, Golden Hours will be ridden by Solis, Santa Anita’s leading rider.

Race of the day: Sweetest Thing, Lapuma and Tweedside head the field in the $100,000 Bewitch at 11/2 miles on the turf today at Keeneland.

Who’s hot: Mark Frostad. The trainer won with seven of his first 17 starters at Keeneland.

Who’s not: Harry Nelson. The trainer has begun 2002 with two winners from 41 starters.

Exotically speaking: A pick four using Emerald Monique, Maura’s Diamond and Alessandria in the fifth, Dinnerathepalms and Hero’s Welcome in the sixth, Revillew Slew and Elaine’s Angel in the seventh and Golden Hours and Mr. Chris Gibbs in the eighth.

Winners: Previous day/meet total: 2/2. Money: Previous day/meet total: $10/$10. Total money bet: $16.
