Missouri Pulls Off Upset
Arthur Johnson had 18 points and 14 rebounds and Missouri overcame a 10-point first-half deficit and poor shooting from its top players to defeat No. 12 Oklahoma State, 72-69, Monday night at Columbia, Mo.
Missouri (20-9, 9-6 Big 12) ended a three-game losing streak against Oklahoma State (22-7, 9-6), defeating the Cowboys for only the second time in seven games.

Kevin Gaines, one of four Houston players suspended Sunday, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Greenville, N.C., and charged with assault on a female. His bail bond was set at $10,350 on Monday and he remained in the Pitt County jail.
Greenville police said Gaines was arrested near the East Carolina campus, where Houston played Saturday night. Police investigating a complaint of breaking and entering involving an automobile were told by a woman that Gaines had physically attacked her.
Former Tennessee State basketball coach Ed Martin, who led the Tigers to nearly 300 victories and is a member of four Halls of Fame, died. He was 75.
