Spitzer Is New Chairman of Transit Agency Board

Third District Supervisor Todd Spitzer on Wednesday became chairman of the Orange County Transportation Authority board of directors, replacing Irvine Councilman Mike Ward.
Spitzer, 41, who is a candidate for the 71st Assembly District seat, has served on the OCTA board since 1997. He is a former deputy district attorney and a past member of the Brea Olinda school board.
Cypress Councilman Tim Keenan will assume Spitzer’s previous duties as vice chairman. Ward will continue to serve as a board member.
