Man Held in Alleged Rape of U.S. Student

Mexican police have arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly raping a U.S. woman on spring break in the Pacific resort town of Ixtapa.
The suspect was identified as Alberto Lodieu del Villar of Mexico City, according to a police report.
According to the report, Lodieu persuaded the 20-year-old woman to leave a disco with him about 3:40 a.m. Sunday, then drove her to a dark commercial area where he hit and raped her.
