Federal agents seized patients’ files from the offices of two cardiac specialists under FBI investigation for allegedly performing unnecessary surgery at Redding Medical Center.
Dr. Chae Hyun Moon, the hospital’s doctor of cardiology, and Dr. Fidel Realyvasquez Jr., chairman of cardiac surgery, came under investigation after authorities received a complaint that a patient was misdiagnosed for triple-bypass surgery.
