Gunman Takes Cash From Liquor Store
A liquor store in the 400 block of West Channel Islands Boulevard was robbed by a gunman Friday night of an undisclosed amount of cash, police said Saturday.
The holdup occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at Plaza Wine and Spirits, according to Port Hueneme police. The gunman entered the shop holding a pistol and ordered a cashier to hand over money from the register.
The robber fled on foot. He was described as white, 21 or 22 years old, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
