Golfer Hit, Dragged by Cart Dies of Her Injuries
From Times Staff Reports
A woman golfing with her sister and a friend Friday died after being struck and then dragged by a golf cart driven by one of her companions, authorities said.
Ok Kim, 54, of Walnut was hit by the cart about 2 p.m. at the Diamond Bar Golf Course, and later died at a hospital, said Sgt. Allen Fulkerson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
He said the incident was under investigation, but Mark Friedman, an attorney for the golf course, described it as “a tragic accident.”
