Herrera New President of Harbor District Board

Jess Herrera was elected this week as president of the Oxnard Harbor District’s Board of Harbor Commissioners.
In the annual reorganization of the board, which oversees the Port of Hueneme, former state Assemblyman Nao Takasugi was elected vice president and Jesse Ramirez secretary.
Herrera replaces Commissioner Michael A. Plisky as president. Commissioner Raymond E. Fosse begins his fourth four-year term, while Herrera and Plisky begin third terms.
