Records -- Avengers 6-4, Chicago 7-3.
Record vs. Rush -- 0-0. (Rush defeated Avengers, 54-53, on Feb. 23, 2003 at Chicago).
Update -- The Avengers continue their push for a playoff spot against a Rush team that features two of the Arena Football League’s top pass rushers -- John Moyer and James Baron. Moyer is third in the league with six sacks. Baron has three sacks and a league-leading five forced fumbles. Moyer and Baron have combined to block six extra-point attempts. Last season, Chicago pressured Avenger quarterback Tony Graziani throughout the game. The Rush secured the victory by intercepting a Graziani pass with a minute left. The Avengers are coming off a 62-55 home victory over Detroit, a game in which they scored on every possession except their last when they were running out the clock. The Rush, third in this week’s playoff standings, lost at San Jose last week, 51-43.
