Man Pleads Guilty to Driving Drunk, Killing 4
From Times Staff Reports
A 26-year-old man pleaded guilty this week to driving drunk and killing four people at a West Covina intersection last year, district attorney’s officials said.
Steven Ernest Estrada of West Covina had been scheduled for trial next week in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He could face up to life in prison when he is sentenced July 28.
Estrada’s car broadsided another car carrying two men and two women in November 2003.
He was on probation for drunk driving at the time, police said.
