Sexson Returns to DL
Arizona Diamondback first baseman Richie Sexson was put back on the 15-day disabled list Sunday because of an injured left shoulder.
Sexson, who partially dislocated and tore a muscle in the shoulder while checking his swing against the Chicago Cubs on April 28, aggravated the injury on another check swing against the Florida Marlins on Saturday -- his second game since being activated.
Sexson said he felt the shoulder slide out, then back into place on the check swing -- the same thing that happened when he injured it originally.

Kerry Wood of the Chicago Cubs will have a bone scan today after he cut short a live batting practice session when he felt more discomfort in his right triceps. “He’s not in any severe pain. But since he didn’t feel any better today and had a little discomfort, we’re going to get the last test [today] and go from there,” General Manager Jim Hendry said.
