Two African men who drew attention while arguing on a Mexico City residential street were found to be carrying $1 million in U.S. bills, much of it suspected to be fake, Mexico’s attorney general’s office said.

Police detained the men while the matter was being investigated. The South African Embassy said officials suspect that the two were carrying false passports. They were identified as Balomlack Celestin Lucien, 28, and Parfait Fongang, 29.
