Man Dies After His Car Jumps Curb, Hits Wall

A man, 46, was killed early Thursday when the car he was driving jumped a curb, knocked down a street light, hit a palm tree and crashed into a wall.
Mack Daniel Williams of Anaheim was driving east on Lincoln Avenue about 2:20 a.m. when the accident occurred between Illinois and West streets, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez. Williams, who Martinez said was speeding, died at the scene.
