Public Will Get Use of High School Stadium
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted to award $2.2 million to the Perris Union High School District for lights and seating at Heritage High School’s new stadium.
The football and track stadium is part of a $105-million high school construction project. The stadium and a nearby 16-acre park will be used by the public as well as students.
Heritage High will eventually serve an estimated 3,000 students from unincorporated Homeland and Romoland after its August 2007 opening.
