Aging: An Oct. 15 article identified Dr. Moira Fordyce of Stanford University School of Medicine as a gerontologist, someone with a degree in aging studies who does not practice medicine. Fordyce is a geriatrician, a licensed medical doctor specializing in geriatrics.
