* Nashville 2, at Columbus 0: Dan Ellis shut out the Blue Jackets for the second time in four days. Jan Hlavac and Radek Bonk scored on consecutive shots in the second period and Ellis made a career-high 43 saves.
* at New Jersey 5, Philadelphia 4 (SO): Brian Gionta, Patrik Elias and Jamie Langenbrunner scored in the shootout to lead the Devils to their 12th consecutive home victory.
* Montreal 4, at Buffalo 3 (OT): Christopher Higgins scored 3:38 into overtime, capping the Canadiens’ rally from a two-goal deficit.
* St. Louis 4, at Detroit 3 (OT): Brad Boyes’ second goal of the game and 40th of the season lifted the Blues.
* at Minnesota 4, Vancouver 0: The Wild handed the Canucks their fourth loss in a row, dropping them into a tie for eighth place in the Western Conference with Nashville.
* at Colorado 5, Edmonton 4 (SO): Joe Sakic’s goal with 5.9 seconds left forced overtime, and he scored the decisive goal in the shootout.
* at San Jose 3, Ducks 1: Brian Boucher’s 23 saves helped the Sharks clinch the Pacific Division title.
