Marpessa Dawn obituary: A brief obituary of actress Marpessa Dawn in Monday’s California section did not report her age. She was 74. The item also misspelled the name of actor Breno Mello, her “Black Orpheus” co-star, as Bruno Melo. In addition, a caption with an article about artist Kara Walker in the March 27 Calendar had the same misspelling of the actor’s name.
