Authorities in Manchester say a man’s son faces attempted murder charges for cutting a pacemaker out of his chest.
The Delaware County sheriff’s office says in a statement that Jesse Fierstine, 32, struck his 63-year-old father, Charles Fierstine, on the head with a flashlight and a piece of firewood Saturday, then cut the pacemaker from his chest using a pocketknife.
Charles Fierstine was hospitalized; officials didn’t give details on his condition.
