SAG Awards 2014: Jared Leto, sans man bun, is ‘blown away’ by nods
After Jared Leto walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes last weekend, his hair was suddenly the subject of much attention.
Backstage, a reporter asked him about his ombre hair, and he wasn’t having it. “Next question,” he joked.
Suffice to say, we were a bit anxious to ask the “Dallas Buyers Club” actor about the man bun he rocked at the Globes -- a hairstyle that many bloggers critiqued this week.

“Oh, I don’t pay attention to that,” Leto said at the SAG Awards on Saturday, where he was, indeed, man bun-less.
Instead, Leto preferred to talk about how honored he was after receiving a slew of awards nominations — including an Oscar nod this week. (Later in the day he went on to win the award for male actor in a supporting role for “Dallas Buyers Club.”)
“I’m thrilled and blown away,” he said. “It’s a tribute to me to all of the people who lost their lives to HIV and AIDS.”
