Lots of people had their money on Snooki getting the first official spin-off from MTV’s“Jersey Shore” but the person is Pauly D (or Paul DelVecchio, to give the full name his mudda gave him). Good news for Fantasia Barrino. A judge has ruled that boyfriend Antwaun Cook was legally separated from his wife earlier than his wife has claimed. This means that Fantasia and Antwaun’s affair – that his ex-wife is suing over – might not have been adultery (which is a crime in North Carolina). That sound of thunder in the Los Angeles area this week wasn’t confined only to a weather system. In the slap that was heard around the world, Lindsay Lohan is back in the headlines for allegedly attacking a worker at the Betty Ford Center. The story involves Lindsay allegedly physically fighting with the woman, who wanted to give her a drug test after Lohan had been out with friends. The woman has since been fired for telling her side of the story to the media, a violation of the center’s ethics codes. She later dropped the charges.(Al Seib / Associated Press)
Bret Michaels proposed to long-time girlfriend Kristi Gibson this week – and she said yes. On an episdoe of his reality TV show, “Life as I Know It,” which aired Monday, the Poison singer got down on one knee and said, “Please say yes or the rejection will kill me right now.” Fortunately, she did. Michaels has had a tumultuous year health-wise; he had an emergency appendectomy, a massive brain hemorrhage, then was found with a hole in his heart.
