WWE superstar The Miz talks more about SummerSlam and Scooby-Doo

Recently, Hannah Mitchell, the 11-year-old daughter of Show Tracker’s “Monday Night Raw” recapper Houston Mitchell, was able to interview some WWE superstars about this Sunday’s pay-per-view event, SummerSlam. Here is the second half of a two-part interview she conducted with WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz.

Q: What is scarier, “The Real World” or WWE?

Well, they are both kind of different. The Real World, I had to live with seven people, and I had to live in a house with them and I didn’t know them at all. Strangers. Would you want to live with strangers, Hannah?

Hannah: No.

Miz: Yeah, you shouldn’t even talk to strangers, and here I am living with them. That’s scary in its own right. Now, in WWE I have to get into the ring with 7-foot-tall, 500-pound giants. So that’s scary too. I guess I would take living with strangers over getting in the ring with big guys, because getting in the ring with big guys is way scarier than living with strangers.

Q: When you are voted into the WWE Hall of Fame, who would you want to give your induction speech?

Miz: Oooooh, good question. You are really going for it, aren’t you? I would want to see who would want to, to be honest. Because no one likes me in the WWE. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I get booed all the time. Sixteen thousand people boo me more than anybody else. I don’t know why. I think I’m a good guy. Don’t I seem like a good guy to you? You are sitting here with me, talking to me. Do I seem like the type of person who should be booed?

Hannah: No, not really.

Miz: Thank you. You are probably the first person who has ever said that. So, I would like a poll to see who would want to give my induction speech, then we will figure it out from there.

Q: Are you going to be in the new Scooby-Doo movie?

Miz: I am. I just did voice-over work for it yesterday, and it was fun. But you know what is weird about that? You are doing voice-overs, and you are just standing there with a microphone. To get you into the character, like say my character was running, then I would be running in place next to the microphone. It doesn’t look that cool. But I guarantee you that the movie will be laugh-out-loud funny and the movie seems like it will be really good. It’s going to be weird to see myself animated, although I am already pretty animated in real life. But I told them I want to be better-looking, more ripped and make me look really cool.

Note: Thousands of WWE fans from around the world will converge on the Nokia Plaza at L.A Live for SummerSlam Axxess beginning Saturday at 11 a.m., and WWE SummerSlam airs live on pay-per-view this Sunday from the Staples Center. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com.
