State minimum wage: An article in the March 28 Section A about reaction to a deal to raise California’s minimum wage said San Diego was among the cities that have agreed to increase the minimum wage over the next few years. San Diego’s City Council voted to increase the minimum wage, but that action was blocked by referendum, and the issue is on the June ballot.
