51-year-old man dies after fistfight with older brother in San Marcos
SAN DIEGO — A 56-year-old man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter in the death of his brother after the two had a fistfight, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
Michael Young and Robb Young, 51, both from Minnesota, were visiting their father in San Marcos when they began fighting “about Robb waking up early and being noisy,” according to Lt. Glenn Giannantonio.
The older brother knocked down the younger brother on the lawn outside the home and then went inside, Giannantonio said.
When he came out 40 minutes later and found his brother motionless, he called for help and began CPR. The brother was declared dead at the scene.
