Hot air balloon makes emergency landing in Murrieta
A hot air balloon was forced to make an emergency landing in the streets of Murietta, authorities said Thursday.
The balloon’s pilot landed safely about 9 a.m. in a residential neighborhood, the Murietta Police Department said.
No one was injured and no property was damaged.
“Watch out below!!” the Police Department said in a Facebook post after the landing, which they said was caused by poor weather and strong wind.
