Monster mural in front of Chris Brown’s home is gone
The now-infamous mural of brightly colored monster characters on the wall outside singer Chris Brown’s Hollywood Hills home is gone and has been painted over.
The mural first set off a storm of controversy in Brown’s neighborhood when some residents complained about the 8-foot-tall figures and Brown was given a citation by the city.
The citation was issued over “unpermitted and excessive signage” on Brown’s home. His attorney appealed but to no avail, according to reports.
An E! News story posted Thursday said “the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety has denied the R&B; star’s bid to keep the graffiti mural on a wall facing the street outside his house -- and it’s already being painted over.”
On Saturday outside of Brown’s home on narrow Rinconia Drive, the monsters with large fangs were gone, there were signs they had been painted over, and really, the only thing to ogle at was the beautiful red sports car parked out front.
