Authorities are looking for clues in a possibly gang-related shooting in Pomona that left a 17-year-old boy dead.
An officer on patrol found the boy inside a car at White Avenue and 2nd Street around 12:06 p.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Matt Stone of the Pomona Police Department told the Los Angeles Times.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released, pending notification of his relatives.
Stone said the shooting could be gang related but investigators had no leads. Anyone with information about the crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers, at (800) 222-8477.
