A favorite from the L.A. Times and downtown Art Walk Instameet

Scott Pastorius made this image down near the Los Angeles River’s 1st Street Bridge at the Los Angeles Times Instameet on Saturday.

A few of the photographers in the group had wandered from the river, across the railroad tracks when they came across a crew of people shooting a rap video, seemingly about the two ladies leaning against a “tricked out Chevy Impala.”

“What stood out most was the sheer happenstance of the whole thing, randomly coming upon this setup,” he said. “But then again, that’s what a lot of good photography opportunities are born out of.”

Pastorius used his iPhone 5 and later edited with Snapseed.
