Football: A drill that makes you sweat to the last push [Video]

It’s always good to head out every season to watch a football practice to see what great idea a coach might have on trying to get his players physically fit.

Last weekend, I watched Crespi players engage in the Prowler drill, where they push 45-pound weights up and down the field.

Lots of players in shape had no problem. Others were struggling. It’s certainly a challenge depending on how many times the player is told to push the Prowler.

And I know a sportswriter who wouldn’t make it 10 yards.
