Football: Verbum Dei has gone from 1-9 to 4-2
First-year Coach Jason Miller of Los Angeles Verbum Dei has a nice turnaround story going. The Eagles, 1-9 last season, are 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the Del Rey League.
Jabril Frazier, Verbum Dei’s talented linebacker-defensive end, has 11 sacks.
Jacob LaRue, a junior running back, has rushed for 1,154 yards and 12 touchdowns.
