Boys’ basketball: Sierra Canyon’s Cody Riley commits to UCLA
A look back as a freshman
Cody Riley, a 6-foot-7 senior who has been starting and starring at Chatsworth Sierra Canyon since his freshman season, announced on Friday that he has committed to UCLA.
Riley is expected to play a wing position for the Bruins. He averaged 12.5 points and had 246 rebounds last season.
He can be a physical player inside but has also worked on his shooting.
Sierra Canyon is expected to have one of the top teams in the nation this season featuring Riley, Arizona State-bound guard Remy Martin and junior Marvin Bagley III, a 6-foot-11 transfer who had to sit out last season.
