Imagine if San Fernando and Granada Hills win out and meet in the City Section Division II championship football game. The alumni would be excited.

The two schools have played some memorable games through the years, none more so than the 1970 City championship game between Dana Potter and Granada Hills against Anthony Davis and San Fernando. More than 15,000 filled Birmingham High. Granada Hills won, 38-28.

San Fernando produced Heisman Trophy winner Charles White. Granada Hills produced Hall of Famer John Elway.
