Tiger Woods’ half brother arrested in bomb threat
Tiger Woods’ half brother has been arrested in Phoenix for allegedly making a bomb threat at the government building where he works.
Earl Dennison Woods Jr., 58, was booked on suspicion of attempting to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass others after calling in the threat Tuesday morning, according to the Associated Press.
More than 100 of Woods’ co-workers at the Department of Economic Security were evacuated at the time of the call.
A reportedly apologetic Woods told police that the threat was meant as a joke and that he did not expect anyone to take it seriously.
In addition to being the half brother of the world’s top-ranked golfer, he also has daughter, Cheyenne, who plays professionally.
