National signing day: Adoree’ Jackson chooses USC
Adoree’ Jackson of Gardena Serra High, one of top athletes in the Class of 2014, announced Wednesday that he would attend USC.
Jackson played cornerback and receiver at Serra.
“They talked to me about playing both ways,” he said on ESPNU.
Jackson, who grew up in Illinois and moved to Southern California to attend Serra, also is regarded as one of the best long-jump prospects in the United States.
Jackson gives USC Coach Steve Sarkisian two major gets on national signing day.
Offensive lineman Damien Mama also announced that he would attend USC. The Trojans are now waiting on a decision by Long Beach Poly High receiver/defensive back John “Juju” Smith.
