You just couldn’t look away from Kings backup goalie Ben Scrivens during an in-game interview between FS West’s Patrick O’Neal and Kings center Jarret Stoll on Tuesday night at Staples Center.

Nor could Scrivens, fondly known as the Professor, pull his fixed gaze away from the TV camera.

It was an All-Star performance in photo/video bombing and shortly thereafter Scrivens was trending on twitter in Los Angeles.

If anything, it livened up what was then a scoreless game between the Kings and the Minnesota Wild in the second period.

TV analyst Jim Fox got off a good line, saying: “If you’re a goaltender, you focus on the puck, or the camera.”
