Preview: Clippers vs. Washington Wizards

The Clippers play at the Washington Wizards on Friday at 4 p.m.

Both teams are streaking right now.

The Clippers have won nine straight games, while the Washington Wizards are looking to get their best home start in franchise history (11-2) on Friday. The game will feature two of the top point guards in the league in Chris Paul and John Wall.

Wall is averaging 10.4 assists, the second-most in the league, while Paul is averaging 10.1, the fourth-most in the league. Paul is only averaging 1.7 turnovers, though, while Wall is averaging four.

The Clippers have won 10 of their last 11 games against the Wizards.

The Wizards will be playing without Martell Webster (back surgery). The Clippers will be playing without Reggie Bullock (sprained right ankle) and Chris Douglas-Roberts (strained right Achilles’).

Washington (15-6) is in third place in the Eastern Conference while the Clippers (16-5) are in fifth place in the West.

After playing the Wizards, the Clippers will play at Milwaukee in their final game of the three-game trip.
