Top Beauty Treatments for Fall

With autumn here, several spas in the city have beauty treatments designed specifically for this time of the year.

Pumpkin is by far the most popular ingredient for fall services, as evidenced by the menu at Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The retreat offers the $160 Pumpkin Glow Facial, which promises the anti-aging powers of pumpkins and yams. Green tea and lactic acid enhance this 50-minute treatment intended to soften fine lines and restore balance while deeply hydrating the skin. Sahra also has the Autumn Body Bliss scrub and the Pumpkin Spice Face & Body Indulgence wrap, both pumpkin-based.

For $85, Spa Mandalay and Bathhouse Spa has the Pumpkin Spice Scrub, a luxurious 25-minute service that features a full-body gentle exfoliation with the fragrance of pumpkin spice. Infused with vitamins A and E, the polish is designed to stimulate circulation and unearth healthy skin.

“Pumpkin is great because of its free radical neutralizing powers, keeping the skin wrinkle-free,” Mandalay Bay director of spa services Jane Cox said.

To revive tired feet, try Cristophe Salon’s Pumpkin Pie Pedicure. For $90, customers will get to relax in a whole milk softening soak, followed by a brown sugar pecan scrub and a warm organic pumpkin puree moisturizing mask. Honeysuckle custard lotion is massaged into the feet as a final touch.

Those who desire more R&R can go for the Autumnal Slumber Massage, available at Spa & Salon Bellagio. The rubdown begins with a slow, gliding massage that swathes guests in hot towels, creating a wrap of lavender-scented peace. The $170 service includes the Hot Toe Bliss, a warm stone massage for the feet and calves.

Finally, for an all-encompassing experience, look no further than the Season of Indulgence at Nurture – The Spa at Luxor. After indulging in a 25-minute body scrub, guests are treated to a 25-minute massage and a 25-minute facial while breathing in the spicy sweet aroma of pumpkin and spice. The best part — spa-goers can purchase the individual treatments at $70 each or book all three for $180.

A bargain price for glowing results.
