Corbin Bernsen, Amanda Pays list Toluca Lake house

Husband-wife actors and serial home flippers Corbin Bernsen and Amanda Pays have put their latest project up for sale in Toluca Lake at $1.499 million.

Whereas many couples find home remodeling a source of division, the two share a love of renovation work and report that it has drawn them closer.

Classified as French in style when they bought the single-story 1945 house late last year for $875,000, the reborn house is now a crisp traditional with a distinctly modern vibe. Clean lines and white walls bring a sense of spaciousness into the 2,039 square feet of interiors.

A wall of white subway tile with a fireplace creates visual interest in the kitchen, which opens to a dining room and doors that lead to the water-wise gardens and outdoor seating areas. The formal living room also has a fireplace.

Vaulted ceilings and skylights enhance the three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

A swimming pool with a spa completes the grounds.

Bernsen, 60, gained famed as dashing divorce attorney Arnold Becker on the 1986-94 series “L.A. Law” and starred in the “Major League” films. He was on “Psych” throughout its 2006-14 run.

Interior designer Pays, 55, recently reprised her role as Dr. Tina McGee on “The Flash.” She starred in the original 1990s “Flash” series.

The pair also listed their personal residence for sale at $2.399 million, with the intent of scaling down to a smaller home. The Valley Village Tudor, built in the 1930s, has 3,340 square feet of living space.

Kelly Sutherland of Coldwell Banker Previews International is their listing agent.
